In Molise, ci staremmo preparando per Ferragosto!

Festeggiato alla fine del periodo del raccolto, Ferragosto affonda le sue radici nella Consualia, un'antica festa in onore di Consus, dio del raccolto e del grano, che si ritiene risalga agli Etruschi e ai Sabini, entrambe tribù italiche pre-romane. Oggi molti italiani trascorrono la giornata con la famiglia e gli amici in spiaggia o facendo un barbecue all'aperto.

Noi, invece, festeggiamo la nostra breve ma dolce estate a modo nostro, mantenendo viva la tradizione della scampagnata. Le associazioni membri della Federazione hanno organizzato e partecipano a una serie di attività per valorizzare la nostra comunità e il nostro patrimonio.

In Molise, we would be gearing up for Ferragosto!

Celebrated at the end of the harvest, Ferragosto has roots in Consualia, an ancient festival in honour of Consus, god of the harvest and stored grain, which is believed to go back to the Etruscans and Sabines, both pre-Roman Italic tribes. Today, many Italians spend the day with family and friends at the beach or an outdoor barbecue.

Here, we are celebrating our short but sweet summer in our own way, keeping the tradition of the scampagnata (“country excursion”) alive. Our member associations have organized and are participating in a variety of activities to highlight our community and heritage.

Il Campobasso FC è apparso nelle cronache nordamericane perché il proprietario, Mark Consuelos (attore noto per Riverdale e co-conduttore di Live with Kelly and Mark), ha promosso la squadra nel suo programma e sulla sua pagina Instagram. Il Campobasso è stato promosso in Serie C per l'anno 2024/2025!

Campobasso FC has been in the North American news as owner, Mark Consuelos (actor known for Riverdale and co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark), has been promoting the team on his show and Instagram page. They have been promoted to Serie C for the 2024/2025 year!
